National Prayer Weekend

This coming weekend we are joining the National Prayer initiative – National Prayer Weekend, and we are invited to pray for our community over the next 3 days.  There are a few ways you can get involved this year:

– You can commit to praying regularly at home for friends and neighbours, local businesses and schools,
– If you walk or drive around the local area, you could pray for households and businesses as you travel,
– You could attend the 6pm service here at St Thomas’ this coming Sunday (1 October) which will be a dedicated service of prayer,
– You could purchase an Emergency Prayer Guide (£2) from the Information Desk at the back of church, and gift it to someone you feel could benefit from it.
If you would like more information about this prayer initiative – please visit their website at
“Lord, make our lives a window for Your light to shine through, a mirror to reflect Your love to all we meet. Amen.”

SCREAMING OUT JESUS is the new children’s album written by Mark Depledge.
We would LOVE to give a copy to all local school children this Christmas!
For every CD you purchase (£5) this will help towards giving a few more away.
Or if you would just like to give a gift towards this schools project please see Mark Depledge or leave gift in church office.

Thank you!
